KEARNEY – The 2023 A-1 and A-3 District Cross Country meets hosted by Kearney High School will now be moved from Thursday, Oct. 12 to Wednesday, Oct. 11.
The potential for unsafe running conditions due to the anticipated weather forecast was the announced reasoning for the schedule adjustment.
In Boys Class A District 1, Kearney will compete with Millard West, Lincoln Pius X, Norfolk, Columbus, Lincoln Southeast, and Omaha Bryan.
In Girls Class A District 3, Kearney faces Millard West, Elkhorn South, Millard South, Lincoln North Star, Papillion-LaVista, Bellevue East, and Omaha North.
