Metallica apparently had enough of playing remotely, so they got together at their headquarters in San Rafael, California.
The group posted footage dated yesterday (August 6th) on their Instagram Stories that shows all four of them in their rehearsal room, with everyone wearing masks except James Hetfield — because he’s at a microphone getting ready to sing. The clip features them playing the intro to “Creeping Death.”
It’s not clear if they got together to work on the material they’ve been writing remotely the past few months or if they were rehearsing for a performance.
