Head Coach Mike Riley and members of the Nebraska football team met with members of the media Monday at Memorial Stadium to talk about this Saturday's meeting with Northern Illinois.

This will be the third all-time meeting between the Huskers and Huskies, and the first since 1990. Northern Illinois is also scheduled to visit Lincoln in 2019, 2021 and 2023. On the injury front, Riley said Josh Kalu is doubtful at this time with a hamstring. David Knevel is doubtful this week with an ankle sprain. Tre Bryant, who left the game Saturday with a knee injury did not practice Monday. Riley said coaches will make a decision about him playing this week no later than Wednesday. With that in mind, Riley said true freshman Jalin Bradley will train as one of the running backs this week. The Huskers and Huskies are set to kickoff Saturday morning at 11:00.
